    tuna, drained

    small red pepper, chopped
  • 1
    large green pepper, sliced
  • chopped parsley
  • 2
    carrots, cut into strips
  • 3
    hard-boiled eggs, cut into wedges (optional)
  • SALAD DRESSING
  • 125
    ml
    oil
  • 5
    ml
    salt
  • 3
    ml
    pepper
  • 10
    ml
    sugar
  • 65
    ml
    vinegar
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 2
    ml
    dry mustard
 

Method

 
1. Line a salad bowl with the lettuce leaves, and arrange all the other ingredients on them. 2. Place the ingredients for the dressing in a glass jar. Shake well and pour over the salad. 3. Serve with freshly baked wholewheat bread and butter.
