Tuna bake

    onion, finely chopped

    tuna in brine
  • 375
    ml
    cooked rice
  • 200
    ml
    milk
  • 100
    ml
    mayonnaise
  • 4
    extra-large eggs
  • 5
    ml
    mustard powder
  • 15
    ml
    chopped parsley
  • salt
  • black pepper
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Grease an ovenproof dish. Sauté the onion in a little heated oil until soft. Drain and flake the tuna. Mix the onion, tuna and rice. Spoon into the prepared dish. Beat the milk, mayonnaise and eggs together. Add the mustard powder, lemon juice and parsley. Season to taste with salt and black pepper and pour over the fish mixture in the dish. Bake for about 30 minutes or until the mixture has set and is golden brown on top. Serves 4
