Tuna and sweetcorn quiche

    baked pastry shell for quiches (see recipe), seasoned with toasted sesame seeds

    oil

    small onions, chopped

    tuna in brine, drained
  • 225

    sweetcorn
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 150
    ml
    cream
  • 2
    ml
    mustard powder
  • 2
    ml
    paprika
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 25
    g
    Cheddar cheese, grated
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 190 ºC (375 ºF). Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onions until soft. Remove from the heat and add the tuna and sweetcorn. Pour into the baked pastry shell. Beat the eggs, cream and seasonings together and pour over the tuna mixture. Sprinkle the cheese op top and bake for about 30 minutes or until the filling is set. Makes 12 slices.
