Tuna and cottage cheese pasta

    pasta shells

    onions, finely chopped

    tuna, drained
  • 410
    g
    cream of tomato soup
  • 125
    ml
    water
  • SAUCE
  • 250
    g
    smooth cottage cheese
  • 250
    ml
    grated Cheddar cheese
  • 250
    ml
    cream
  • cayenne pepper for sprinkling

Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF). Spray an ovenproof dish with non-stick spray. Cook the pasta in enough rapidly boiling, salted water until tender. Drain and spoon into the oven dish. Sauté the onion in a little oil until tender. Add the tuna, cream of tomato soup and water. Mix well and spoon over the pasta, mixing lightly. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and pour over the pasta mixture. Bake for 25 minutes or until warmed through. Serve with a mixed salad. Serves 6.
