Tuna and cheese loaf

    onion, finely chopped

    butter
  • 200
    g
    tuna, drained
  • 500
    ml
    fine breadcrumbs
  • 1
    extra-large egg
  • 250
    ml
    milk
  • 250
    ml
    cheddar cheese
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
 

Method

Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF). Spray a 22 x 11 x 7 cm loaf tin with non-stick spray. Sauté the onion in butter until soft. Remove from the heat and add the fish. Mix. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix lightly and spoon into the prepared loaf tin. Cover with aluminium foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove the aluminium foil and bake for another 10 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Serves 3.
