    g
    margarine
  • 130
    g
    icing sugar
  • 40
    g
    cocoa
  • 200
    g
    Marie biscuits, crushed
  • 125
    ml
    smooth apricot jam
  • 5
    ml
    vanilla essence
  • 2
    ml
    rum essence
  • coconut for coating the truffles
 

Method

 
Cream the margarine until soft. Sift the sugar and the cocoa together and add to the margarine. Mix well. Add the crushed biscuits, apricot jam and vanilla and rum essences and mix well. Shape the mixture into walnut-sized balls and roll each ball in the coconut. Place in a container, cover and keep in the fridge. Makes about 35 truffles.
