    bought sponge cake
  • 315
    g
    Nestlé Ideal Evaporated Milk
  • 50
    ml
    sweet wine (like hanepoot)
  • 100
    g
    maraschino cherries, halved, and a little of the syrup
  • 100
    g
    walnuts, coarsely chopped (optional)
 

Method

 
Break the sponge cake into pieces in a glass bowl. Pour over the evaporated milk and the sweet wine. Add the cherries, a little syrup and the walnuts. Mix and chill, preferably overnight. Serves 4.
