Tomato salad

A salad that even the picky eaters will devour with gusto.

Ingredients

 
  • 500 - 750
    g
    mini tomatoes
  • 2
    wheels of feta
  • Handful of fresh basil
  • Dressing:
  • 2
    cloves of freshly crushed garlic
  • 2
    tsp
    salt
  • Pinch of mustard
  • 2
    Tbs
    lemon juice – fresh
  • 4
    Tbs
    olive oil
  • grated lemon peel (optional)
Servings: Change Serving
 
 

Method

 
Cut tomatoes in half.
Arrange on a serving platter.
Sprinkle chopped basil over.
Crumble Feta over.

Dressing:
Crush garlic and shake up with the rest of the ingredients.
Drizzle over salad and serve.

Carving meat
Always allow your roast to rest for 5 to 15 minutes before carving so that the juices can be reabsorbed and the meat presents an even surface when sliced. Use a short- or long-bladed knife, and a two-pronged carving fork with a guard. To prevent the meat from losing juice, steady it with the flat of the fork, rather than piercing.
