Tofu and plum skewers

  • 450
    g
    tofu, cut into 2,5 cm cubes
  • 2
    plums, quartered
  • Marinade
  • 125
    ml
    plum sauce
  • 60
    ml
    olive oil
  • 60
    ml
    soy sauce
  • toasted sesame seeds, to sprinkle
 

Method

 
Thread pieces of tofu and plum quarters on 8 bamboo skewers.
Place in a shallow dish.
Marinade:Mix together the plum sauce, olive oil and soy sauce and pour over the skewers.
Marinate for about 2 hours.
Braai until tofu is nicely browned around the edges, brushing occasionally with marinade and turning from time to time.
Sprinkle sesame seeds over and serve with salad greens.
