Toasted espresso nuts

    g
    mixed raw nuts
  • 15
    ml
    sunflower oil
  • 5
    ml
    finely ground espresso
  • 5
    ml
    grated nutmeg
  • 5
    ml
    ground cinnamon
 

Method

 
Preheat oven to 180 ºC. In a small bowl, toss nuts in oil, then place them on a baking sheet. Toast in oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and toss nuts in it until lightly coated. Return nuts to baking sheet and roast for 2 more minutes. Serve warm as a snack, or use to decorate Zuccotto coffee cake (see recipe).
