Tiramisu cream pie

    butter

    chocolate biscuits, crushed

    pecan nuts, chopped

    plain chocolate
  • 125
    ml
    thick cream
  • 500
    g
    creamed cottage cheese or mascarpone
  • 15
    ml
    strong black Nescafé coffee
  • 50
    g
    castor sugar
  • 175
    ml
    plain yoghurt
  • chopped nuts, chocolate chips and cocoa powder for decorating
 

Method

 
1. Melt butter in a pan and stir in biscuits and 2/3 of the pecans. Press into the base of a greased fluted flan dish, chill in the refrigerator. 2. Melt 175 g of chocolate, cool slightly. Whip cream until stiff. Beat half of the cheese in a bowl with coffee, sugar and melted chocolate. Gently fold in cream. Pour into flan dish and smooth top. Chill until firm. 3. Meanwhile, melt remaining chocolate over pan of gently simmering water and leave to cool slightly. 4. Mix together the remaining cheese and yoghurt and swirl over the top of the cheesecake. Sprinkle over remaining nuts and chocolate chips or dust lightly with cocoa powder to decorate.
