Preheat oven to 180°C.Pour the oil and soya sauce over the fillet. Season generously with black pepper and leave to stand for approximately 30 minutes.Sear the fillet quickly in a hot pan to seal and brown it.Transfer the fillet to a roasting tin and bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes per kilogram for medium-rare or 24 minutes when following this recipe.Remove from the oven and set aside to rest for five minutes.Mix the pan juices with the cream and pesto and heat.
