Tempeh parcels

  • 500
    g
    tempeh
  • 10
    sheets nori
  • toothpicks
  • SERVE WITH
  • 250
    g
    cooked rice or egg noodles
  • 2
    large carrots, cut into a fine julienne
  • 3
    slices pineapple, cored and shredded
  • SEASONING
  • water
  • soy sauce
  • lemon juice
  • a dash of oil
 

Method

 
1. Cut tempeh into desired shapes and sizes. Wrap with a sheet of nori, and secure with a toothpick. Place parcels on an oiled baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes at 180 ºC. 2. Stir-fry cooked noodles, carrots and pineapple with water, soy sauce, lemon juice and oil. 3. Season stir-fry mixture and place baked tempeh parcels on top. Serve immediately.
