    fresh mushrooms, wiped clean and sliced

    dried or 2 ml freshly chopped origanum

    plain yoghurt

    large eggs, beaten

    self raising flour

    Cheddar cheese, grated

  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method

+/- 30 min
 
Microwave the butter, onion and garlic in a casserole dish on 100 per cent power for 2 minutes. Add the mince and mix well with a fork. Microwave for 5 minutes on 100 percent power and stir once. Add the flour, heated meat stock and tomato purée. Mix well and microwave on 70 per cent power for 5-7 minutes or till the mixture thickens slightly. Add the mushrooms and seasonings and spoon into a glass bowl. Prepare the topping: Beat ail the ingredients except the paprika together. Pour over the mincemeat mixture and sprinkle with paprika. Microwave for 12-15 minutes on 70 per cent power or till the topping has set. Serves 4-6.
