Ingredients

  • half a packet of brown onion soup
  • 125
    ml
    cream
  • 15
    ml
    sweet- chilli jam
  • 5
    ml
    dried chillies, crushed
  • 125
    ml
    milk
  • 15
    ml
    sunflower oil
  • 1
    small onion, sliced
  • half a red and yellow pepper, sliced
  • 500
    g
    chicken livers, cut into small pieces
  • 1
    can Denny Sliced Mushrooms, drained
 

Method

1. Combine the soup powder, cream, sweet-chilli jam, chillies and milk in a small mixing bowl.
2. Heat the sunflower oil in a saucepan. Sauté the onion and peppers until soft. Add the chicken livers and cook for about five minutes. Stir in the sauce from the bowl and add the mushrooms. Stir until thickened and season to taste. Serve on sliced and toasted ciabatta bread.
