Tandoori lamb chops

    lamb chops or cutlets
  • fresh coriander sprigs to garnish
  • MARINADE
  • 20
    ml
    tandoori spices
  • 175
    ml
    natural yoghurt
  • 30
    ml
    chutney
  • 1
    small lemon or lime, juice
  • 5
    ml
    salt
 

Method

 
MARINADE: Mix tandoori spices, yoghurt, chutney, lemon juice and salt together well. Place chops in a shallow dish and pour yoghurt marinade over. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, longer if time allows, turning once. Preheat grill. Place chops on rack of a roasting pan and grill for about 4 minutes a side, brushing with marinade from time to time. Serve immediately with minted baby potatoes, a cucumber and tomato salad and lemon wedges. Garnish with coriander.
