Tandoori chicken skewers

    limes, juice
  • 15

    chilli paste
  • 500
    g
    chicken breast fillets, cubed
  • MARINADE
  • 15

    ginger paste
  • 15
    ml
    garlic paste
  • 45
    ml
    garam masala
  • 5
    ml
    ground cumin
  • 15
    ml
    chilli powder
  • 375
    ml
    Bulgarian yoghurt
  • pinch turmeric
 

Method

Mix together the lime juice and chilli paste, season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper, and mix with the chicken. Refrigerate for one hour.
To make the marinade, mix together all the ingredients.
Add the chicken to the marinade and leave to marinate for 12 hours.
Thread the chicken cubes onto skewers.
Grill in the oven or over an open fire for about five minutes on each side.
