Tandoori chicken

    chicken thighs
  • 15
    ml
    tandoori spice mix
  • 250
    ml
    natural yoghurt
  • 30
    ml
    chutney
  • 1
    lemon, juice
  • 5
    ml
    salt
 

Method

 
Wipe chicken with a damp cloth and place in a shallow container.
Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over chicken.
Allow to marinate for an hour or two, turning occasionally.
Preheat grill. Place chicken on a baking tray on the second oven shelf from the top. Grill chicken for 6 minutes.
Turn, baste and grill for a further 6 minutes.
Turn and repeat process in 5 minute increments for a further 15 minutes.
Serve with naan bread, basmati rice and a tomato, onion and mint sambal or cucumber and yoghurt raita.
