T-bone steak with mustard sauce and summer salad

Ingredients

  • Salad:
  • Butter lettuce
  • Cubed cucumber
  • Tomatoes
  • Feta (crumbled)
  • Roasted mixed seeds
  • 2
    t-bone steaks
  • 250
    ml
    white wine
  • 1
    Tbs
    wholegrain mustard
  • 250
    ml
    cream
  • 1
    onion/shallot
  • 2
    cloves garlic
 

Method

20 mins
 
Salad:
Toss your ingredients together and serve with your favourite dressing.

Steak:
Pan fry your steak to your liking.

Sauce:
Deglaze the pan you used to fry the steak with the wine, let the alcohol cook off and the liquid reduce by about half.
Add the onion (or shallot) and garlic and fry until soft and translucent.
Add the mustard.
Remove from the heat and stir in the cream and serve.
