    small Boer pumpkin
  • 200
    g
    sugar
  • 7
    ml
    honey
  • 5
    pieces of cinnamon
  • 12
    ml
    margarine
  • 375
    ml
    water
  • 7
    ml
    cornflour
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Peel and slice the pumpkin and remove the pips. Arrange the slices in an ovenproof dish. Combine the remaining ingredients, except the cornflour, and pour over the pumpkin. Bake until done. Thicken the sauce with the cornflour, mixed with a little water. Serves 4.
