Sweet and sticky ribs

Ingredients

    honey
  • 30
    ml
    brown sugar
  • 100
    ml
    soya sauce
  • 200
    ml
    tomato sauce
  • 1
    onion, grated
  • 50
    ml
    vinegar
  • 30
    ml
    mustard
  • 1
    kg
    lamb ribs, cut into individual portions
 

Method

Place all the ingredients, except the ribs, in a saucepan.
Heat to dissolve the sugar, and allow to cool.
Add the ribs to the sauce and marinate for 20 minutes.
Grill the ribs for about 20 minutes, turning occasionally and basting regularly until brown and cooked through.
Serve with corn on the cob drizzled with parsley butter.
Variation
Substitute the lamb ribs with beef or pork. Cook pork ribs slowly so that the fat melts, resulting in delicious and crispy pork ribs.
