Sweet and sour pork kebabs

    sunflower oil
  • 8
    thin pork sausages
  • 1
    pineapple, cut into wedges
  • 1
    large green pepper, cubed
  • 8
    baby tomatoes, halved
  • MARINADE
  • 20
    ml
    soy sauce
  • 20
    ml
    balsamic vinegar
  • 30
    ml
    honey
  • 3
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 25
    ml
    lemon juice
 

Method

20 minutes
 
1. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry sausages for about five minutes until lightly browned. Cut each sausage into three pieces. 2. Thread sausages, pineapple, green pepper and tomatoes onto skewers. Mix together marinade ingredients and brush over kebabs to coat well. Cook under a grill or over medium-hot coals on the braai until vegetables are cooked. Brush with remaining marinade every few minutes.
