Sweet and Sour Pork

    olive or sunflower oil

    pork, cubed
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 10
    baby potatoes, halved
  • 100

    green beans, sliced
  • 500
    ml
    beef stock
  • 125
    ml
    tomato chutney
  • 30
    ml
    vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
 

Method

 
Heat oil in a large saucepan and brown meat. Add onions and stir until translucent. Gradually add stock and simmer for 30 minutes. Add potatoes and beans and cook for a further 15 to 20 minutes, or until meat and potatoes are tender.
Mix tomato chutney and vinegar together and add to pot. Simmer over medium heat until sauce thickens.
