Ingredients (11)

750.00 ml rice — cooked
490.00 g baked beans in tomato sauce
250.00 ml peas — cooked
1.00 carrots — grated
green pepper — halved, diced
125.00 ml mayonnaise
50.00 ml milk
Tabasco sauce — a few drops
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
2.00 spring onion — chopped
1.00 eggs — hard-boiled, sliced

Method:

Mix the cooked rice, baked beans in tomato sauce, peas, carrot and green pepper in large mixing bowl.
Mix the mayonnaise and milk, stirring till well blended. Add the Tabasco sauce and season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour over the rice mixture, mixing well so that all the ingredients are coated with mayonnaise. Turn the mixture into a salad bowl. and sprinkle with chopped spring onion. Garnish with egg slices.
Chill till needed,
Serves 6.
