Summer fruits in champagne

Ingredients

    peaches, stoned and sliced
  • 2
    nectarines, stoned and sliced
  • 1
    banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1
    apple, sliced
  • 100
    g
    black and green grapes
  • 100
    g
    Icing sugar for dusting
  • 30
    ml
    (2T) brandy
  • 30
    ml
    (2T) fresh lemon juice
  • 250
    ml
    (1 cup) champagne or sparkling wine
 

Method

1. Combine all fruits in a mixing bowl. Dust with icing sugar to taste.
2. Moisten with brandy and lemon juice, toss and chill.
3. When ready to serve, transfer the fruit to a serving bowl and pour the champagne over.
4. Serve with ice cream.
