Stir-fry beef with macaroni

    macaroni
  • 300
    g
    lean frying steak, julienned (cut into thin strips)
  • 40
    ml
    oil
  • 1
    bunch spring onions, chopped
  • 100

    fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 250
    g
    leeks, sliced
  • 1
    green pepper, seeded and julienned
  • 3
    medium courgettes, sliced
  • 2
    medium carrots, julienned
  • 2
    sticks celery, sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • MARINADE
  • 50
    ml
    soy sauce
  • 15
    ml
    cornflour
  • 10
    ml
    fresh ginger, grated
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
 

Method

 
1. Cook macaroni as directed on packet, drain and set aside. 2. Mix ingredients for marinade and marinade meat strips for 1 hour. 3. Heat oil and fry meat for a few minutes. Remove and set aside. 4. Stir-fry prepared vegetables until crisp-tender. Return meat. Add macaroni and heat through.
