Stir-fried rice with spicy sausage and fegetables

Ingredients (12)

30.00 ml oil
10.00 ml garlic — cloves, crushed
1.00 onion — medium, thinly sliced
200.00 g sausages — spiced, sliced
375.00 ml broccoli — broken into florets
500.00 ml cauliflower — broken into florets
65.00 ml water — boiled
1.00 Litres rice — white, cooked, cold
Seasoning:
25.00 ml soy sauce
Worcestershire sauce — or hoisin sauce
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
30.00 ml fresh parsley — chopped

Method:

Heat the oil in a fairly large pan until hot and rapidly stir-fry the garlic and onion until fragrant.
Add the sliced sausage and stir-fry until lightly browned.
Add the broccoli and cauliflower, stir-fry lightly and pour boiling water over.
Cover and heat until the vegetables start to soften, remove the lid and heat until the liquid has evaporated.
Add the rice and mix until hot.
Pour the seasoning over and mix through. Serve immediately.
Serves 4.
