Stir-fried rice with pork

    crushed garlic

    Chinese five-spice powder

    lean pork strips
  • 15

    grated fresh ginger
  • 4
    medium-sized leeks, cut open and thoroughly rinsed, then sliced thinly

    young green beans, sliced into 3-cm lengths

    cold, cooked white rice
  • SEASONING
  • 50

    soy sauce
  • 20
    ml
    grape vinegar
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
 

Method

 
Whisk the marinade ingredients together and pour over the pork. Leave to marinate for 20 minutes, remove the pork and set the marinade aside. Heat the oil in a fairly large pan and stir-fry the pork strips a few at a time until just cooked and lightly browned. Add the ginger and stir-fry rapidly until fragrant. Add the leeks and beans and stir-fry until tender. Add the marinade and boil rapidly for 1 minute. Add the rice and mix through. Pour seasoning over and heat. Serves 4.
