Stir-fried mushrooms with cream and sage

    butter

    sliced fresh button mushrooms
  • 250
    ml
    sliced fresh oyster mushrooms
  • 15
    ml
    chopped fresh sage
  • 250
    ml
    cream
  • salt and milled black pepper
  • 1
    large herb or vegetable focaccia, toasted
 

Method

 
Heat butter in a large frying pan. Add mushrooms and stir-fry for 5 minutes, or until browned and softened. Add sage and cream and cook for 3 minutes. Season creamed mushrooms and serve on wedges of toasted focaccia for a perfect Sunday supper.
