Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Place the beef, cinnamon, star anise, ginger, garlic, sugar, oyster sauce, vinegar and water in a baking dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
Roast for 2 hours.
Remove foil and roast for a further 30 minutes or until tender and sticky.
Squeeze the lemon juice over and serve with steamed rice and fresh coriander or choose a side dish below. Pick a side:
• Mashed potatoes drizzled with chilli oil
• Sesame peanut noodles tossed in sesame oil, sesame seeds, crushed toasted peanuts, sprouts and fresh coriander
