Sticky chicken wings

Perfect as a snack or a quick end of weekend supper.

    pack free-range chicken wings
  • white sesame seeds, toasted
  • cooked jasmine rice
  • 8
    spring onions, finely chopped
  • 5
    garlic, crushed
  • 2
    thumb-sized pieces of ginger, finely grated
  • 75
    lime juice
  • 75
    tamari soy sauce
  • 3
Servings: Change Serving


Preheat the grill.

Mix all the marinade ingredients together and toss with the chicken wings. Leave the wings to marinate for 30 minutes.

Place in a baking dish on the middle rack of the oven and grill until cooked and crisped up. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve with the rice.

Cook’s notes:
To make curled spring onions for garnish, top and tail the spring onions, cut a deep cross into the base and leave in ice water until they curl.
