Sticky barbecue ribs

Ingredients

  • 1.50
    kg
    pork ribs
  • MARINADE
  • 30
    ml
    cider vinegar
  • 60
    ml
    olive oil
  • 60
    ml
    Worcestershire sauce
  • 45
    ml
    marmalade
  • 30
    ml
    tomato sauce
  • 30
    ml
    soya sauce
 

Method

45 minutes
 
Mix together ingredients for marinade.
Add ribs and stir to coat.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Remove ribs from the marinade, place on a baking tray and cook in a preheated 190 degrees celsius oven for 20 to 30 minutes, turning once.
Pour marinade into a saucepan and boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
Transfer ribs to the braai grid and grill over hot coals, bone side down.
Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, brushing occasionally with marinade.
Serve hot.
