Steamed madombolo with herbs

    instant yeast
  • 750
    g
    flour
  • 5
    ml
    sugar
  • 3
    ml
    salt
  • 30
    ml
    fresh parsley, chopped
  • 200
    ml
    Lukewarm water
 

Method

1. Sift flour into a bowl, then add yeast, sugar, salt and herbs. Mix well.
2. Add lukewarm water a little at a time until a soft dough is formed. Knead the dough for 10 minutes.
3. Place dough in a warm place for 30-35 minutes, until it doubles in size.
4. Place dough in a well-oiled, heat-resistant bowl and steam at a low heat for 1-1/2 hours, or until done.
