Steamed baby carrots with dill

    baby carrots, green tops intact
  • 15
    ml
    freshly chopped dill
  • 30
    ml
    orange juice
  • 15
    ml
    olive oil
  • 2
    ml
    finely grated orange rind
  • 1
    ml
    dry mustard powder
  • 1
    ml
    salt
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
 

Method

25-30 minutes
 
Prepare the electric steamer for use as indicated in the instruction booklet and fill with cold water. Scrub the carrots with a coarse brush or scrape if desired. Place the carrots in the steamer bowl, cover and steam for 25 to 30 minutes or until done. Whisk the remaining ingredients together in a medium-sized bowl. Add the cooked carrots and mix. Serve with lemon chicken with baby potatoes (see recipe).
