Steak rolls with chilli butter

  • 400
    g
    rump or sirloin steaks
  • salt and milled pepper
  • sunflower oil
  • 4
    Italian rolls, halved
  • 30
    g
    watercress
  • CHILLI BUTTER
  • 60
    ml
    butter
  • 30
    ml
    each shredded chilli and chopped parsley
 

Method

 
Heat a ridged grilling pan on top of stove until very hot. Season steaks and brush with a little oil. Fry steaks on both sides until done to your liking. CHILLI BUTTER: Mix butter, chilli and parsley. On each roll arrange watercress sprigs, top with a steak and 15 ml (1 tbsp) chilli butter. Top with other half of roll and serve with chips.
