6.00 steak — T-bone
250.00 ml wine — red
10.00 ml garlic — salt
15.00 ml dried oregano
freshly ground black pepper — to taste

Method:

1. Trim steak of excess fat and sinew, and place in a large, shallow non-metal dish. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
2. Combine wine, garlic salt, origanum and pepper in a jug.
3. Prepare and heat barbecue for 1 hour before cooking. Cook steak on hot, lightly greased barbecue. Grill each side until cooked as desired, brushing frequently with wine mixture.
4. Serve immediately.
