Spicy ostrich and noodles

    ml
    minced chilli
  • 65
    ml
    soy sauce (sodium reduced)
  • 2
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 500
    g
    ostrich fillet or steak
  • 250
    g
    Oriental noodles or spaghetti
  • 4
    sliced baby marrows or a punnet of mushrooms
 

Method

 
Mix chilli, soy and garlic together.
Slice meat and place in a shallow container.
Pour over sauce and marinate for 30 minutes.
Cook noodles according to packet instructions.
Drain and set aside.
Don't panic if the noodles are cold - simply slosh some boiling water over them when you're ready to eat.
Heat a pan or wok until very hot.
Add a drop of olive oil and the baby marrows.
Cook for about two minutes.
Add meat, without the marinade and cook for two minutes.
Add remaining marinade and cook for a further three minutes.
Pile onto noodles and serve with extra soy sauce.
