Spicy mince risoni

    risoni pasta
  • 3
    vegetable stock with 1 teaspoon Cajun spice - dissolved
  • 15
    olive oil
  • 1
    birdseye chilli - finely chopped
  • 1
    clove of garlic - finely chopped
  • 1
    large onion - peeled and finely chopped
  • 1
    large greenpepper - deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1
    lean beef mince
  • 2
    mince spice or steak and chops spice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A handful of fresh basil


Cook the risoni in the vegetable stock until done. Drain and set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the chilli, garlic, onion and greenpepper until soft.
Add the mince and brown.  Add the spices, seasoning and cook until done.

 Add the cooked risoni to the mince and mix through. Top with chopped basil and serve.
