Ingredients (11)

4.00 hake fillets
lemon juice
10.00 ml cumin — ground
10.00 ml coriander — ground
15.00 ml curry powder
2.00 ml turmeric
60.00 ml flour — cake
5.00 ml salt
1.00 eggs — lightly beaten
sunflower oil — for frying
lemon — wedges and fresh coriander, to garni

Method:

Rinse fish and pat dry with absorbent paper, then sprinkle with lemon juice. Mix spices and curry powder with flour and salt.
Dip fish in egg, then toss in flour mixture to coat.
Heat a little oil in a pan and fry fish on both sides until golden and cooked through.
Serve with lemon wedges and sprigs of fresh coriander.
