Spicy chicken wings

    cake flour

    curry powder
  • pinch ground cumin
  • 2
    ml
    ground ginger
  • 2
    ml
    paprika
  • 2
    ml
    ground coriander
  • pinch salt
  • 100
    g
    butter
  • 30
    ml
    soy sauce
  • 4
    garlic cloves, crushed
  • 8
    chicken wings
 

Method

 
Preheat oven to 180 °C.

Grease a 25 x 20 cm ovenproof dish with oil.

Season the flour with the spices and salt and transfer to a large plastic bag.

Melt the butter, add the soy sauce and garlic and coat the chicken wings with the seasoned butter.

Place the chicken wings in the plastic bag and shake well until the wings are coated with the flour mixture.

Arrange the wings in the ovenproof dish and bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.

Serve with sweet chilli sauce or a yoghurt, cucumber and garlic dip.
