Spiced chai apple muffins

  • 300
    g
    natures choice gluten free cake flour
  • 150
    ml
    honey
  • 5
    ml
    cinnamon
  • 300
    ml
    chai tea
  • 2
    apples
  • 10
    ml
    baking powder
  • pinch
    salt
 

Method

40 mins
 
Preheat the oven to 160 deg Celsius.

Make the tea. Set it aside to brew and cool.

Cut the apples into small cubes. Leave the peel on.

In a  medium bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and apples. Make a well in the centre.

Pour in the tea and honey. Gently fold into the dry ingredients.

Spoon the mixture into greased muffin trays. Fill about ¾ of the way.

Bake for 40-45mins.
