    ml
    currants
  • 300
    g
    instant white rice with wild rice (2 x 150-g bags)
  • 2
    carrots, scraped and grated
  • 2
    stalks celery, sliced into rings
  • 30
    ml
    butter
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
 

Method

 
Pour a little boiling water over the currants and soak until plump. Meanwhile, prepare the rice according to the instructions on the packet. Keep warm. Sauté the carrots and celery in the butter until soft. Drain the currants and add, heating until warm. Add the rice and mix. Serve with chicken. Serves 4-6.
