Ingredients (6)

160.00 ml currants
300.00 g rice
2.00 carrots — sraped and grated
2.00 celery stalks — sliced into rings
30.00 ml butter
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:

Pour a little boiling water over the currants and soak until plump. Meanwhile, prepare the rice according to the instructions on the packet. Keep warm. Sauté the carrots and celery in the butter until soft. Drain the currants and add, heating until warm. Add the rice and mix. Serve with chicken.
Serves 4-6.
