    grated Cheddar cheese

    spaghetti
  • 15

    grated Parmesan cheese
 

Method

35-40 minutes
 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Spray a large oven dish with non-stick spray. Heat the olive oil and fry the onion and mince until the meat is no longer pink. Add the tomato paste, stock, herbs and seasoning. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Make a white sauce with the butter, flour and milk. Remove from the heat and stir in the Cheddar cheese. Cook the spaghetti in rapidly boiling salted water until done, drain and mix in the cheese sauce. Transfer the mince to the prepared dish, spoon the spaghetti on top and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until baked through and golden brown.
