Smoked salmon spread

    g
    smoked salmon
  • 15
    ml
    lemon juice
  • pinch freshly ground black pepper
  • 65
    ml
    mayonnaise
  • 250
    g
    creamed cottage cheese
  • 5
    ml
    dried dill
  • lemon wedges, to garnish
  • sprigs of fresh dill, to garnish
 

Method

 
Cut the salmon into small pieces with kitchen scissors. Sprinkle with lemon juice and black pepper. Add the mayonnaise, creamed cottage cheese and dill and mix well with a wooden spoon. Chill for 2 hours, garnish with lemon wedges and fresh sprigs of dill and serve. Makes 375 ml (1 1/2 c) spread.
