Ingredients (15)

150.00 g noodles — shell, uncooked
1.00 onion — sliced
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
oil
1.00 celery stalks — sliced
2.00 leeks — sliced
2.00 carrots — chopped
600.00 g meat — cubed
400.00 g sausage — leftover, slices
400.00 ml stock — chicken
230.00 g green beans — tinned, drained
nutmeg — ground
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
15.00 ml cornflour — slurry
50.00 g cheddar cheese — grated

Method:

Cook the shell noodles in rapidly boiling salted water until soft. Drain and set aside. Sauté the onion and garlic in a little oil until soft. Add the celery, leeks and carrots, stir-frying until glossy. Add the meat the sausage pieces and stir-fry lightly. Add chicken stock (as needed) and green beans. Simmer until heated through and season with a pinch of nutmeg and salt and black pepper to taste. Thicken the sauce with cornflour if necessary. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese if desired and serve with the noodles.
Serves 6-8.
