Simple cos lettuce salad

  • 1
    cos lettuce (butter lettuce will also do)
  • 8
    radishes, optional
  • Dressing
  • 45
    ml
    olive oil
  • 15
    ml
    lemon juice
  • 5
    ml
    sugar
  • 1
    small clove garlic
  • salt and milled pepper
 

Method

 
Wash and dry lettuce.
Whisk dressing ingredients together.
Fifteen minutes before serving, slice radishes thinly and toss with lettuce.
Drizzle over dressing, adjust seasoning and allow to 'rest' while the flavours develop.
Note:The best time to do this is while the meat is resting.
