    ml
    low fat cream cheese
  • 200
    ml
    fat free smooth cottage cheese
  • 75
    ml
    castor sugar or 7 sachets of sweetner
  • 30
    ml
    condensed milk (optional)
  • 10
    ml
    cardamom powder
  • 5-6
    saffron strands
  • 25
    ml
    slivered almonds
  • 25
    ml
    slivered pistachios
  • 25
    ml
    coloured slivered almonds (garnish)
 

Method

Empty the cream cheese and cottage cheese into a mixing bowl and using a hand beater mix for about 2 - 3 minutes.

Add your choice of sugar or sweetner and the condense milk (if using) and mix till light and fluffy.

Using a spatula gently fold in the cardamom powder, saffron strands, almonds and pistachios.

Spoon into ice cream bowls, garnish with the coloured slivered almonds and refrigerate before serving.
