  • 250
    g
    cake flour
  • 1
    ml
    salt
  • 150
    g
    cold butter, cubed
 

Method

 
1 Sift flour and salt into a bowl. Add butter and rub in with your fingertips until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. 2 Add 45 ml cold water and mix together with a knife to form a firm dough. 3 Cover with cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
