Ingredients (5)

BASIC DOUGH
350.00 ml flour — cake
100.00 g cornflour
100.00 g castor sugar
1.00 ml salt
250.00 g butter

Method:

Sift the flour and the cornflour into a bowl. Add the castor sugar and salt and rub in the butter to form a soft dough. Shape into biscuits or press into a greased baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. allow to cool before removing from the baking tray.
Makes: 25 biscuits
Baking time: 20 minutes
Oven temperature: 160 ºC
