Seswaa (Pounded meat)

    brisket bones
  • 1
    large onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • MOROHO (see tips)
  • dried bean leaves
  • 1

  • oil and water
  • salt and pepper to taste


Place brisket, onion and salt and pepper in a saucepan, cover with water and cook until soft for about two and a half hours. Drain liquid and pound the meat until flaky. Remove all bones. TO COOK MOROHO Place moroho and the chopped onion in a saucepan, add water and a bit of oil. Boil for 15 minutes, continuously stirring. Season with salt and pepper.
